It is with an overwhelming sense of pride and exhilaration that the Department of Library and Information Science of our college launches into the Online Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) promoted through www.vvvclibrary.blogspot.com.
In the post-modern era, it becomes a dire necessity for the portals of higher learning to consistently update the technical infrastructure. And, institution like ours is anticipated to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge at a more rapid pace. To meet with these demands we have thus extended a high-tech facility in promoting research activities among academicians and research scholars.

The installation of Virtual Library is a milestone in the history of VVVC Library which has been extending its service since 1962 - from traditional to digital and now its culmination as a virtual library.
This website provides access to plenty of peer-reviewed scholarly journals and full texts. As per the need of the moment, this facility has been extended through ONLINE SDI.
All the developed countries in the global arena witness a rapid growth, since they provide every opportunity to equip, update the current trends in one's research area. Hence undoubtedly it is a boon for research faculty and elite students. It facilitates the publication of the activities and services of our library globally through internet. Through this Online SDI, the feedback comments can be received by the library by which we could improve to offer better service.
I positively hope that this SDI enriches the research clime of our college.
