NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning)

NPTEL provides E-learning through free online Web and Video courses in Science, Engineering and Humanities stream.  It is the joint initiatives of the seven IITs and IISc of our nation funded by MHRD.

The videos and Web courses along with the syllabus are disseminated according to the courses offered in our college through our library weblog www.vvvclibrary.blogspot.in.

The faculty members from various disciplines of our college are requested to send their feebacks, so that these Web and Video courses may be stacked offline in our college library to provide enhanced e-learning infrastructure

NPTEL features:

«     Provision of open course materials for science, engineering and humanities students and teachers (freely).
«     The NPTEL faculty have modularized their courses into core concepts which every one of these institutions may teach and topics which are add-ons to the course.
«     The courses are well structured and are elaborate with details wherever the faculty members have felt the need.
«     Institutions are encouraged to build their own versions of NPTEL courses based on their curriculum design using the NPTEL materials and collective experience of all IITs and IISc in TEL.
«     The focus is to build at least one version of each course offered in all of Science, Engineering and Humanities from B.Tech. / B.Sc. to Ph. D. programs.
