I thank our College Managing Board, especially our Managing Board Secretary Mr.S.M.S.Manicavachagom,B.B.A., who has innovated and incepted the "BEST LIBRARY USER AWARDS" to motivate VVVC students towards reading habit. This award really motivated the students, which we come to know through the statistics from the Automated Gate Entry of our VVVC Library.
The inception of Automated Gate Entry is a milestone in the history of our VVVC Library which has been laid by our great Managing Board Secretary who provided the system with scanner within just two days on our request. This show his keen academic interest towards the growth of our VVVC Library in turn towards the growth of our great grand institution.
Also, he has consented to give prizes and certificates for the students not only for the overall winners, but for the topper from each major and that too from each year of study, which has come to about 106 in number (BEST LIBRARY USER AWARD). This highlights his bigheartedness towards the empowerment of rural women students to motivate reading and learning ability, although the number of prizes and certificates is large. These awards have been given on 11th April, 2013 during the WINNERS' DAY of our College.
